Pioneer Heritage Festivals: Everybody becomes an apprentice at our pioneer homestead helping in the blacksmith shop, spinning wool, gem mining, pressing apple cider, making candles and feeding the barnyard animals. You can also join in the cat-fishing tournament, and old-time songs. |

Cherokee Times: Travel back in time to our secret Cherokee Village. You'll learn their traditional ways including making pottery and baskets, grinding corn and even learning how to throw a tomahawk! Kids can also learn authentic Cherokee games and songs.

Other mornings we'll sweep you away on big group challenges on the adventure course, our deep woods mystery special called "King's Quest, a nature hike, or a turtle tracking adventure.”

| AWESOME AFTERNOONS... |
|
Every afternoon, you'll be invited to join in an exciting adventure. One day, staff will lead you on a creek hike and water slide on Crystal Creek or the outback destination of the West Fork of the French Broad River. Other afternoons it's "water games" in our mountaintop meadows. It's wet and wild and very Earthshine.

| EXCELLENT EVENINGS... |
|
After dinner, staff will take you to a special spot on our mountaintop for stories around the campfire, mountain music and dance, old-timey games, scavenger hunts, and such. Each evening is different. Those that are ready for some peace and quiet can just watch the sunset out on the deck of the lodge.

Activities for Ages 10 and Up:
High Ropes Course - A magical challenge for individuals and groups. Do what you never thought you could! 2 hours of heroics - by you!!!
Earthshine's unique "Flight thru the Treetops" Zip Line Course - is already legendary after just a few years! Outrageous fun zipping from tree house to tree house WAY UP in the tree tops. 10,000 participants in the first 3 years!!! Offered at least 6 times a week.

Activities for Ages 5 and Under:
In addition to Pioneer and Cherokee mornings, little ones always enjoy Barnyard Treks. Children feed and pet the sheep, ducks, chickens and even our donkey, Boo-Boo.

Our 30' Climbing Wall is a huge hit. Kids can really show up their parents here!

Babysitting is available at no charge for our lodging guests
