Local Directions
From Brevard, NC: Take US 64 West about 11 miles. Look for Silversteen
Road by a gas station/convenience store. Turn right. Go 7/10 of a mile and turn left on
Golden Road. Go 1.6 miles to our drive. Turn right and go up the hill. Welcome!!
From Cashiers, NC: Take US 64 East about 17 miles to Silversteen
Road by a gas station/convenience store. Turn Left. Go 7/10 of a mile and turn left on
Golden Road. Go 1.6 miles to our drive. Turn right and go up the hill. Welcome!!
Major City Directions
From Atlanta, GA: (3 hours) Take I-85 north. Immediately after Lake
Hartwell, take Exit 1 for South Carolina Highway 11. Turn left onto 11. Travel 50 minutes.
Turn left on SC Highway 130 North, (near Salem, SC). SC Highway 130 turns into NC Highway
281 @ SC/NC border. Travel on 281 North until you reach the junction of 281 and US 64. At
the intersection, turn right onto US 64 east. Go approximately 15 minutes. Turn left at
the Citgo gas station/convenience store (on the corner of US 64 and Silversteen Rd.). Travel 7/10 of a mile
and turn left onto Golden Road, with an Earthshine sign. Travel 1.6 miles to
the drive (see Earthshine sign), and turn right up the hill to the lodge.
From Greenville, SC: (1½ hours) Take Hwy
276 north through Travelers Rest over Caesar's Head to Brevard.
In downtown Brevard, turn left on Broad Street/US 64 west. Travel
approximately 11 miles. Turn right at the Citgo gas station/convenience
store (on the corner of US 64 and Silversteen Rd.). Travel 7/10
of a mile and turn left onto Golden Road, with an Earthshine sign.
Travel 1.6 miles to the drive (see Earthshine sign), and turn
right up the hill to the lodge.
From Charlotte, NC: (2½ hours) Take I-85
S. to Highway 74 West (Exit 10). Highway 74 west eventually merges
into I-26 West. Take I-26 West to the Asheville Regional Airport
(Exit 40, old Exit 9). Take that exit and turn left onto Highway
280. Take 280 all the way into Brevard. 280 will turn into U.S.
64 West just out of Brevard. Take 64 West for 14 miles. Look for
Silversteen Road by the Citgo gas station/convenience store. Turn
right. Go 7/10 of a mile and turn left on Golden Road. Go 1.6
miles to our drive. Turn right and go up the hill. Welcome!
From Asheville Airport: (1 hour) Turn right on Highway 280. Follow
280 to Brevard. In Brevard, Highway 280 becomes US 64. Travel US 64 west approximately 11
miles past downtown Brevard. Turn right at the Citgo gas
station/convenience store, on the corner of US 64 &
Silverstein Rd. Travel 7/10 of a mile and turn left onto Golden Road with an
Earthshine sign. Travel 1.6 miles to the drive with the Earthshine sign and turn right and
up hill to the lodge.
